Got a special someone who you would like to spend an evening with stargazing in New Brighton’s beachside hot pools?

Then make sure you book in for one of He Puna Taimoana’s new Friday night ‘After Hours’ events that will take place outside the complex’s usual opening hours.

“This is an experience not to be missed. Picture yourself soaking under the stars, steam coming off the pools, listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. It will be truly atmospheric and a great way to spend a Friday night, says He Puna Taimoana Manager Merryn Skipper.

The After Hours events are being introduced on a trial basis, with the first one planned for this Friday from 8 to 10pm.

“New Brighton has some great hospitality businesses that are open late so couples can combine a soak in the hot pools with drinks or an evening meal to create a really special night out, Ms Skipper says.

Bookings for the After Hours events sessions can be made through the He Puna Taimoana website.

People who are He Puna Taimoana members also need to book and pay to attend After Hours.
