Christchurch City Council is holding its first meeting of the year at 9.30am on Thursday 27 January. The main items on the agenda for the public part of the meeting are:

  • A report that recommends the Council remove charges for overdue library items and all historic debt related to overdue library charges from 1 March 2022.
  • A report which seeks the Council’s approval of a submission to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency on their State Highway 76 Brougham Street upgrade project.
  • A report which seeks the Council’s approval of a submission on the Canterbury Regional Council (Ngāi Tahu Representation) Bill.
