Council updates  |  2 Aug 2019

Christchurch City Council is meeting on Thursday 8 August. The main items on the agenda for the public part of the meeting are:

  • Reports from the Community Boards outlining the major issues and projects in their areas.
  • A report which recommends the Council introduce bus priority measures on Lincoln Road and Moorhouse Avenue.
  • A report which recommends the Council approve the Global Settlement Agreement, which is designed to settle any ambiguous aspects of the original Cost Sharing Agreement signed between the Council and the Crown in 2013.
  • A report which seeks Council approval of a draft submission on the Ministry of Transport’s Road to Zero Road Safety Strategy 2020-30.
  • A report from the Acting Chief Executive summarising the organisation’s performance during July.
  • A report from the Mayor on the external activities she has undertaken over the past month.
