Council updates  |  8 Dec 2022

Christchurch City Council is meeting at 9.30am on Wednesday 14 December. The main items on the agenda for the public part of the meeting include:

  • A review of the Council's Policy for the Appointments and Remuneration of directors of Council-controlled organisations. 
  • A report recommending the Council establishes a temporary alcohol ban in the Woolston Village area for a period of six months.
  • The Mayor's report for October-December.
  • A report providing the Council with options for improving levels of public satisfaction with the condition of footpaths.
  • A report that seeks the Council’s approval for a grant of $120,000 from the Capital Endowment fund to Oxford Terrace Baptist Church for fit-out of social housing.
  • A report recommending that the Council approves consultation on the Waste Management and Minimisation Bylaw 2023.
  • A report updating the Council on the process for applying for a chlorine exemption for selected drinking water supplies.
  • A report that recommends the Council adopts the Terms of Reference for the Portfolio roles established by the Mayor and Council.
