Council updates  |  19 Aug 2022

Christchurch City Council is meeting at 9.30am on Thursday 25 August. The main items on the agenda for the public part of the meeting are:

  • A report seeking the Council’s approval of grant allocations from the Metropolitan Strengthening Communities Fund.
  • A report seeking the Council’s approval of the detailed traffic resolutions for the section of the Nor’West Arc cycleway from the University of Canterbury to Aorangi Road.
  • Reports detailing the organisation’s key performance and financial results for the year ended June 2022.
  • A report updating the Council on overdue general and rates debtors with balances in excess of $20,000 as at June 30 2022.
  • A report updating Council on work occurring in the Three Waters portfolio during May and June 2022.
  • A monthly report from the Mayor outlining her external activities and the key decisions of the external bodies she attends on behalf of Council.
  • An update on the recovery efforts at the fire-damaged Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant.
  • A Hearings Panel report which recommends the Council grant a ground lease to Christchurch Gondola Limited over the part of Mount Cavendish Scenic Reserve where the upper terminal building for the gondola sits.
