Council updates  |  22 Feb 2019

Christchurch City Council is meeting on Thursday, 28 February. The main items on the agenda for the public part of the meeting are:

  • A report from the Infrastructure, Transport and Environment Committee which recommends the council grant Lime Technology a 12-month trading permit so it can continue operating its e-scooters in the city.
  • A report seeking a Council decision on the how the $3.1 million from the Strengthening Communities Fund should be apportioned between the Community Boards for subsequent allocation to their communities.
  • Hearings Panel reports on the Draft Heritage Strategy, the Suburban Parking Policy, and the Proposed Earthquake-prone Buildings – Identification of Priority Routes.
  • A report informing the Council of the planned temporary relocation of the Fendalton Service Desk while repairs are carried out on the Fendalton Library building.
