Council updates  |  1 Apr 2021

Christchurch City Council is meeting at 9.30am on Thursday 8 April. The main items on the agenda for the public part of the meeting are:

  • Reports from the Community Boards outlining issues and projects in their areas.
  • A report seeking Council’s approval of the detailed traffic resolutions, speed limits and tree removals needed for the planned upgrade of High Street between Cashel and Tuam streets and the High Street tramway extension.
  • A report that recommends the Council accepts Ngāi Tūāhuriri’s gifting of the name Parakiore for the Metro Sports Facility.
  • A report that seeks Council’s approval of a draft submission on Environment Canterbury’s Draft 2021-31 Long Term Plan.
