Good Friday is your last chance to indulge at the Night Food Trucks in Cathedral Square as the 2016 summer season comes to an end.
The food trucks have been in Cathedral Square every Friday from 4-9pm over the summer, feeding foodies their global street food for a second successful summer.
First trialled in 2014, the initiative was developed by the Council as part of the Transitional City Programme.
Christchurch City Council Urban Design and Regeneration Unit Manager Carolyn Ingles said the food trucks had provided a fun, family friendly activity to attract people into the Central City.
"As people come in, they see the progress being made and how Christchurch is being reshaped, restored and revitalised. We've had another successful summer of food trucks, with around 1000 people coming out on Friday nights to support the initiative.
"It's been great to provide a focal point for Cantabrians to come and enjoy the amazing food options on offer, and draw people back into the central city. We are working towards bringing the initiative back for next summer. "
The Food Trucks relocate to the Commons for winter, and will be ready and waiting for customers on the first Friday of each month.
