Things to do  |  11 Jul 2022

An upcoming appearance at the Go Live winter music festival marks the return of popular roots/rock/funk/reggae group 1 Drop Nation following a five year absence.

The six-piece band will hit the Three Boys Stage in the Limes Room at the Christchurch Town Hall on Saturday 23 July with a fresh vibe, captivating harmonies and a funky groove to keep the crowd moving from start to finish.

Singer Kanei Johnson is a fan of the mid-winter festival idea.

“I think winter needs something like this; it lifts the people up and brings some energy and excitement to the season!”
