Want a glimpse of what the weather is like at the top of the Port Hills?
An image from the webcam.
The Summit Road Society, with the support of Christchurch City Council, Prime Security and the Christchurch Gondola, have organised for two web cameras to be installed on the roof of the gondola building.
One of the camera faces east along the Port Hills towards Godley Head, while the other faces west towards the Sign of the Kiwi and Gebbies Pass.
The web cameras take images every 10 minutes so people can get a feel of the changing weather conditions on the Port Hills and plan their visit accordingly.
Check it out on the Summit Road Society's website.
