Life in Vacant Spaces is searching for additional users of New Brighton's Roy Stokes Hall so it can become a thriving community asset.

The hall was once part of Central New Brighton School.

Toi Collective Art Studio and Gallery and The Christchurch Circus Trust currently use the hall on a regular basis, but Life in Vacant Spaces is keen to get other groups using the hall.

“The Roy Stokes Community Hall was built by the people of New Brighton and is there for the community to use, so we want to hear from them,” says Elisha Blogg, a New Brighton resident who is the director of LiVS.

"We want you to tell your friends about this amazing space and ask them to spread the word,” Elisha adds.

The Roy Stokes Hall can hold up to 360 people in the main space. There is also meeting room space available for hire at affordable rates.

Expressions of interest in the hire of the hall can be sent to info@livs.org.nz.
