Rare chance for Christ Church Cathedral tour

Curious about what’s happening behind the fences surrounding Christ Church Cathedral?

Then book a spot for a special behind-the-scenes tour on either 30 April or 1 May with members of the Cathedral’s reinstatement team.

The tours are being run as part of Open Christchurch, the annual celebration of architectural excellence.

Although the tours of Christ Church Cathedral will not include entry into the building itself – not even the construction company has been inside yet – they will provide a rare chance to get close to the building and to hear about its history, architecture and the reinstatement process.

Tickets for the behind-the-fences tours of the Christ Church Cathedral will be released to the public at 1pm on Wednesday 20 April.
