Our staff and contractors are on the ground assessing and responding to the situation.

Overnight:

  • First responders responded to a landslide in Akaroa impacting on residents 
  • Road closures across the city and Banks Peninsula due to surface flooding and some and slips,  including SH75 at Birdlings Flat.

We will have a further update around midday.
