Summer in the Styx 2025
Join the Styx Living Laboratory Trust for the annual Summer in the Styx event this Sunday. Come and learn more about the amazing conservation mahi happening in Ōtautahi Christchurch and in particular the Pūharakekenui/Styx River Catchment.
Meet at Te Waoku Kahikatea Reserve, 303 Radcliffe Road Belfast at 10am. There will be a range of stallholders, food, kayaking, guided walks, games and more.
Ōtautahi Preloved Clothing Market
Refresh your wardrobe by buying someone else’s at the Ōtautahi Preloved Clothing Market. Head to the Hornby Club at 17 Carmen Road from 11am – 4pm on Sunday to browse through 40+ stalls of new and preloved clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, jewellery, makeup and beauty products.
Learn about conservation work happening in Christchurch at the Summer in the Styx event
There will be womenswear, menswear and kids’ wear, plus handmade items and craft stalls including manicures, permanent jewellery, sewing/mending workshops, henna art and personal styling workshops. Please bring cash, $2 entry.
Christchurch Night Market
The Christchurch Night Market is on this Friday and Saturday evening in Ferrymead. There are over 50 food vendors with cuisines from around the world and a variety of fun activities for children.
The market will be on at 10 Settlers Crescent, Ferrymead from 5.30 – 9.30pm.
Philippines Day 2025
Celebrate Philippines Day 2025 at Ray Blank Park this weekend. Enjoy a fun-filled day showcasing the Filipino Culture, traditional dances and music, food and games.
Philippines Day will be on from midday to 5pm Sunday. Ray Blank Park is located at 14 Gothic Place, Ilam.
Revamp Vintage Market: Summer 2025
Christchurch’s largest indoor market is back at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand on Sunday. The Revamp Vintage Market has a selection of stalls from Canterbury’s vintage stores, dealers, traders and one-off sellers with a collection of the unusual, eclectic and the interesting to sell.
Come for a rummage and find your treasure. The market will be on from 10am – 3pm at 45 Harvard Ave.
