Rock The Park!

The biggest free outdoor rock concert ever to hit Canterbury is on this weekend! The Rock and Christchurch City Council are proud to present Rock The Park!

Head to North Hagley Park this Saturday from 2pm to 6pm, and enjoy a fantastic day for all-ages. Entry is free with a limited capacity.

Big Bargain Book Sale

Calling all book lovers! Treat your shelves to the annual Big Bargain Book Sale. Make your way to Pioneer Recreation and Sport this Centre, and bag a bargain with books from $1.

The sale will run from 9am to 7pm Friday 24 March and 9am to 4pm Saturday 25 March.

Good Vibes Mākete

Over 60 vendors will be filling Roy Stokes Hall this Friday evening, with everything from live music to art exhibitions!

The indoor artisan good vibes market will be held from 5pm to 8:30pm, in conjunction with the DUKE Festival in New Brighton.

Art Space Activation

All are welcome this Sunday to celebrate the unveiling of a new art installation in Centre City! Check out the temporary makeover of a large vacant site and indulge yourself in a range of events.

The day includes a sausage sizzle, basketball competition, street art workshop, hair braiding, barbers, prizes and more. The opening will take place from 12 to 3pm at 207 St Asaph Street.
