Super Rugby Aotearoa reaches its climax on Saturday night as the Crusaders  fight  to hold on to the title against the Chiefs.

The Tactix face the Magic in a premiership netball clash at Christchurch Arena on Sunday evening.

Mother of all Clean-ups

Mark Mother’s Day early by showing support for Mother Nature on Saturday.

Join 50 community groups and 21 schools in cleaning up riverbanks and the estuary edge.

Volunteers can support the big clean-up in Ferrymead and New Brighton, starting at 10am. Learn more online. 

Matuku Theatre Family Day

Head to Matuku Takotako: Sumner Centre on Saturday from 10am to enjoy free theatre workshops and makerspaces, featuring shadow puppets, mask-making, face painting and music and movement sessions. 

UC CYO Presents Symphonic Dances

The UC Christchurch Youth Orchestra – along with CSM Sinfonia – will feature works by Mozart, Marquez, Bridge, Hazo and Rachmaninoff in Symphonic Dances at the Charles Luney Auditorium on Saturday night. Book tickets online.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s on Mother’s Day

Take mum along to a special Mother’s Day screening of Breakfast At Tiffany’s at Lumière Cinemas in The Arts Centre on Sunday afternoon. Book tickets online. 

God Save The Queens

Enjoy a right royal celebration of music composed for the queens of England, featuring the Jubilate Singers, Christchurch Symphony Brass, the Oriana vocal quartet and soloists on Saturday night at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral.
